Ran across this boycott started by Dr. Boyce Watkins (http://www.boycewatkins.com/) and sadly it makes a lot of sense.

Apparently, NCAA makes billions of dollars and pays some of their coaches in the millions while many of their star players and their families continue to live in poverty. Boyce gives a few examples of a few of these player’s sad stories on the website to join the coalition.
